Chesapeake Bay Chapter of Best Day Foundation is volunteer organization and registered 501(c)3 that enables children and young adults with special needs to build confidence and self-esteem through adventure activities which stretch their limits, expand their true potential, reinforce their achievement, & connect them with diverse populations in their community. They are holding their events taking kids with special needs surfing, boogie boarding and kayaking in Nags Head at Jennette’s Pier on June 10 and 11.

They would loved to have local kids with special needs attend their events as participants. Many of their volunteers across other chapters are middle and high school students.s. Students would receive a letter verifying their community service hours after each event.
