North of Oregon Inlet: Angel Gift Program
Partnership Seeks Sponsors, Donors and Applicants
The Outer Banks Woman’s Club is seeking sponsors and donors for their Angel Gift Program, now in it’s 30th year. The club partners in a collaborative effort with the Dare County Department of Health and Human Services, whose role is the screening of applicants.
Residents interested in applying or assistance through the Angel Gift Program need to apply in person at the Dare County Department of Health and Human Services, Social Services Division, Manteo Campus. Applications will be taken from October 23, 2017 – November 9, 2017 9am until 4pm daily. This is the ONLY application period.
Families eligible for Angel Gift Program who live north of the Oregon Inlet must be below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level (more information is available at http://tiny.cc/r3vuey) provide proof of income, and a completed application. Due to increased participation, priority will be given to eligible families who were not assisted last year. Additional families will be included, as funds permit,on first come, first-served basis.
The continued success of this program would not be possible without the generous support and funding provided by businesses, organizations, and individuals from Dare County and beyond.
