The Outer Banks Center for Dolphin Research is a 501 c(3) non-profit organization. Our mission is to promote the conservation of bottlenose dolphins in the Outer Banks through research and education. Volunteers participate in boat surveys on the sound to collect information on our local dolphin population and outreach events to education the public on dolphin biology and conservation.

Description of Volunteer Opportunity
Research and outreach volunteers will be needed beginning in April 2016 to assist with boat surveys and outreach events. Research and outreach training will take place in March and April; dates will be posted on our website.
