Volunteer Opportunities with the Town of Duck include:
There are numerous ways which you can volunteer and assist the Town of Duck. These include serving on a board, committee, helping with a special event, or assisting with administrative activities. Additionally, all volunteers will need to sign our Volunteer Policy which was adopted by the Duck Town Council. Boards: There are two boards that individuals can serve on:
Planning Board – Members must be real property owners within the Town and do not have to be Town residents.
Board of Adjustment – Members must be real property owners within the Town and do not have to be Town residents.
Advisory Committees: These committees are established by the Town Council as needed and are appointed based upon each committee’s needs. There are no residency or property ownership requirements to serve on these committees.

Community Improvement Committee
Event and Office Volunteers: There are numerous opportunities available to assist with Town events and functions. There are no residency or property ownership requirements to volunteer in any of these capacities. There may be training requirements associated with these positions.
Office Volunteer – To assist with general office needs and special projects.
